Transfer from A Coruña Airport to Riazor Beach

The journey from A Coruña Airport departs Culleredo and follows the AC-14 southern motorway, skirting the city's industrial and residential suburbs before descending toward the coastal zone. You'll pass through built-up neighbourhoods and see the gradual transition from inland landscape to the urban seafront as the route approaches the beach district, with views of the city sprawl giving way to the Galician coast.

Your driver meets you at the arrivals baggage-hall exit of your landing terminal, holding a name sign—no confusion, no hunting for a desk. The 18-minute drive is most predictable in off-peak hours; mid-morning and late afternoon can add a few minutes due to city traffic around A Coruña's main arteries. Riazor is a Blue Flag urban beach fully equipped with toilets, showers, sun loungers and a seafront promenade; the nearest parking (Aparcamiento Orzán-Riazor) is a one-minute walk away.

Taxis from the airport cost €22–26 for the same journey but depend on availability and meter rates; public transport requires a bus to the city centre (€1–2, ~25 min) followed by a local tram or bus to Riazor (€1.30, ~11 min more), totalling 40+ minutes and multiple changes. A pre-booked private transfer avoids these delays, luggage handling stress and the need to navigate unfamiliar bus routes on arrival.
