Note that the final leg to Tian Tan Buddha site itself requires either the scenic Ngong Ping 360 cable car (25 minutes from Tung Chung) or New Lantao Bus 23; your driver will drop you at Ngong Ping Village or the cable car terminal depending on your preference.

Public alternatives are slower and fragmented: the MTR Tung Chung Line costs around HK$4 but takes over an hour total, or Long Win Bus covers the full journey in 90 minutes with unreliable schedules.
