Transfer from Strasbourg Airport to Colmar

Your journey follows the A35 southbound, a modern toll-free motorway that sweeps through the rolling Alsatian countryside past Obernai and Sélestat, with vineyards and half-timbered villages framing the landscape before descent into Colmar's medieval old town. Your driver meets you at the arrivals baggage-hall exit of your landing terminal; allow 55 minutes total for the transfer, though traffic rarely delays this corridor outside peak summer Saturdays—morning departures (6–10 am) are fastest. Colmar's city centre has limited free parking, so hotel drop-off or the nearby Lacarre car park (€3/24h) work best; first-time visitors often underestimate walking distances from the station.

Private transfer beats public alternatives decisively here: the TER train takes 90 minutes door-to-door (€6–14, 16 daily) and requires a shuttle to Strasbourg-Ville first; FlixBus costs just €2.98 but departs only twice daily (08:30, 21:15) and needs a transfer to the bus station. A taxi from rank or app will cost 40–60% more than a pre-booked transfer, with no flight monitoring and no fixed price—surge pricing applies in summer. Your Transfeero driver adjusts to flight delays in real time at no extra cost.
