With over one million inhabitants in the entire urban district, Seville is the fourth largest Spanish city by number of inhabitants and certainly one of the oldest and most fascinating. Its tradition has its roots in North African and Punic cultures, and still bears traces of those Muslim conquests that once characterized Spain. Today Seville is an important tourist rediscovery, thanks to its incredible oriental architecture and the beautiful territory that surrounds the city. A holiday in Seville may not include beaches or crazy nightlife… but it will certainly make you experience a unique magic.

What to pack for your trip to Seville
Your suitcases ready for Seville must contain many light, short-sleeved clothes, with comfortable shoes suitable for long walks. Also bring some jackets or sweatshirts because there could be unexpected drops in temperature in the evening. Of course, don’t forget the devices for taking photos and videos… the city architecture is absolutely worth it. We recommend hats against the morning sun, and sunscreens.

What to do and NOT to do in Seville
In Seville people love tourists and are always kind and smiling if you show respect and if you like their city. Walk a lot, admire a lot, take a lot of photos and learn the beauty of Seville so that you will have beautiful memories to take with you. In Seville we recommend to enjoy food, and to enjoy the possibility of taking your time slowly … easily.
In Seville, you better NEVER: criticize the flamenco music and the flamenco dancers, do not even try to dance flamenco unless you really are a very good dancer! ; never speak in English to a sevillan… no matter if your Spanish is not that good, they will certainly prefer it to a foreign language; never start a discussion about football! ; never face a tour in the city during the hottest hours.
Seville is a safe and lovely city, but there are pickpockets in the most touristic areas of the centre. So never walk with your bag(s) open and never show too much “gold” on your body.
