Transfer from Bolzano Airport to Brixen

Your journey follows the A22 Brenner motorway northbound for approximately 48 kilometres, climbing gently through the Isarco Valley with vineyards and traditional Tyrolean architecture framing the route. You'll pass the charming town of Laives before the landscape opens to reveal the Dolomite peaks that define this Alpine region. The drive typically takes 50 minutes in normal conditions, offering time to relax after your flight.

Your driver meets you at the arrivals baggage-hall exit of whichever terminal your flight lands in, holding a name sign—no hunting through the airport required. Plan to exit the terminal within 33 minutes on average; morning traffic (7–9 a.m.) can add 10–15 minutes to the overall journey, while afternoon departures run smoothly. Brixen's historic centre sits on a steep hillside, so knowing your exact accommodation helps your driver choose the best legal drop-off point.

Taxis from Bolzano Airport charge metered rates with no price guarantee, often totalling significantly more than a pre-booked transfer, and queues regularly exceed 20 minutes. Public transport—trains run every 30 minutes for €10 but require luggage navigation through stations, while SAD buses take 90 minutes and run only hourly. A private transfer handles all luggage, adapts to flight delays in real time at no extra cost, and delivers you directly to your door.
